§ 66-22. Failure to pay bill; discontinuance of water service.

The charges for garbage and trash pickup service, which shall be debited to each water meter account, shall render such water meter account delinquent if not paid with the water bill on a monthly basis. Failure to pay such charge shall be a violation of this article and the city may discontinue water service for such violation. Discontinuance of water service for failure to pay garbage charges shall not be construed as a criminal penalty and no notice and hearing shall be required for persons violating the provisions of this article.
